Suspend that 7-year-old for crimes against pastry!

No seriously! Did you hear the one about the seven-year-old who got suspended for two days for chewing his pastry tart into the shape of a gun? I couldn't make this one up, but I can tell you that it is normal for little boys and even girls to play bang bang.

Maybe the teacher had it in for the kid. According to what I heard, the kid is guilty of being seven. With all that we have to do with our time, this is just not sane.  I heard later that the young boy has ADHD, and maybe the teacher has itching powder in her underpants.

The school is not bending, but I have to say if this is all they have, they need to go back to educator's 101 and realize "Boys will be boys."

This is insane. I mean, I understand the need for caution. But seriously? If boys don't have a toy gun, their fingers become the toy gun. I'd be finding a new school for my child.
A deaf-mute kid had a huge problem, becuase the official abbreviated sign for his name looks like the shape of a gun.

There might be a no tolerance policy, but come on, there is also common sense. I am beginning to think that people have none anymore, just follow government and don't think for yourself.

I told my waife about it being "jammed" and we both laughed.

About an hour ago, it hit me again - all I said was "it will jam" and we both laughed again.

That is just WAY too funny!

That's insane. People are so paranoid about guns and other things the minute they see anything related to it they go into a panic. If this was 2+ decades ago the teacher would have rolled their eyes and said "Boys will be boys", as you said.
